Abstract: Community corrections procuratorial supervision ensures the smooth and safe execution of community correctional penalties by comprehensively supervising correctional institutions and subjects throughout the entire process. This supervision facilitates the reintegration of correctional subjects into society and achieves the dual objectives of lawful correction and social governance. Research indicates that the current structure and operation of community corrections procuratorial supervision, including the composition of the supervision team, the focus of supervision content, and the specificity of supervision methods, have undermined the governance functions of community corrections. Therefore, it is necessary to adapt to the trends in criminal enforcement reform and establish a governance-oriented approach to community corrections procuratorial supervision. By leveraging the strengths of city-level rule-of-law governance, optimizing the supervision model, strengthening team capacity, and enhancing intelligent safeguards, we can modernize and improve the governance system and capabilities of community corrections procuratorial supervision.
