The overall level of college students' learning engagement is low(M = 3.64), and there is significant correlation between learning engagement and boredom proneness, future time perspective and other dimensions (p < 0.01). The future time perspective has a significant mediating effect between boredom and learning engagement(28.8%). And there are significant mediating effects between boredom and learning engagement in the three dimensions of future time perspective: future effectiveness, behavioral commitment and long-term goal orientation.
