Abstract: The traditional Chinese philosophy contains rich educational value. It contains the value pursuit of energetic and vigorous self-improvement, the dialectical thinking mode of harmony without uniformity, the attitude of life of pragmatism and pursuing transcendence, and the humanistic feelings of stressing ethics and promoting rationality. It is of great significance to promote contemporary college students to cultivate noble personality, firm cultural confidence, and finally grow up to be worthy of the important responsibilities of the new era. Focusing on the limitations of traditional philosophical wisdom, it is necessary to guide college students to correctly analyze and treat traditional philosophical wisdom by using Marxist scientific world outlook and methodology, so that the traditional philosophical wisdom can play a better role in educating students in their study and practice.
