STUDY ON COURSE SCHEDULING SYSTEM IN COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES BASED ON STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODEL

Course scheduling in colleges and universities is complicated and tedious. Scientific arrangement of teaching sites and experimental equipment can improve the teaching effect. Based on the study of various constraints of the course scheduling system in colleges and universities, the structural equation model (SEM)of the course scheduling system is constructed by using AMOS software to solve the direct and indirect effects of key factors on the course scheduling system in colleges and universities. The results show that the maximum path coefficient of performance input query management is 0.754, followed by teaching plan management 0.665, curriculum information management 0.547, and the minimum impact is teacher-student evaluation management, with a value of 0.403. Accordingly, it provides countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the reform of education and teaching, improving the quality of teaching and avoiding resource waste.

Abstract: Course scheduling in colleges and universities is complicated and tedious. Scientific arrangement of teaching sites and experimental equipment can improve the teaching effect. Based on the study of various constraints of the course scheduling
system in colleges and universities, the structural equation model (SEM)of the course scheduling system is constructed by
using AMOS software to solve the direct and indirect effects of key factors on the course scheduling system in colleges and
universities. The results show that the maximum path coefficient of performance input query management is 0.754, followed by
teaching plan management 0.665, curriculum information management 0.547, and the minimum impact is teacher-student
evaluation management, with a value of 0.403. Accordingly, it provides countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the
reform of education and teaching, improving the quality of teaching and avoiding resource waste.
