An Exploration of College Students' Discourse Practice of Ideological and Political Education in Web Environments

Abstract: Our communication channels and expressions were reconstructed by Internet technology. Undergraduate ideological and political education work, as a discourse practice, are facing a severe reconstruction in web environments. The overlaps and recognition of discourse practice between educators and learners are dropping. To improve college students' discourse practice of ideological and political education in web environments, we can start with three main factors which are related to discourse practice: what did we say, how did we say, and why we said that. College students have a strong experience of the Internet. For this reason, we must focus on building a networked system of discourse, enriching a fictionalized expression of discourse, and ensuring a vindication effect of discourse, thus strengthening the practical effect of the undergraduate ideological and political discourse.
