Abstract: News can be regarded as the discourse expression made by the reporter from the standpoint of the audience. At the same time, news also involves the function of transmitting information. Therefore, news discourse should be analyzed as a specific discourse. This article attempts to combine news context with discourse analysis, and examines you wang(hopefully) in the news context from the inside out. From the syntactic environment such as syntactic position, semantic domain and co-occurrence components of you wang, to the semantic relationship of the clause with you wang, to the discussion of the discourse function of you wang in the news context, the study explains the function of stance expression and information transmission of you wang with the theories of stance expression and information transmission.
