Abstract: McEwan's new work Machine Like Me takes the entry of androids into human life as the theme, and explores the complex human-machine relationship and ethical conflict in the post-human context. In the space where humans and machines coexist, there are irreconcilable contradictions and confrontations in both private family space and public social space, and it is impossible to form an ideal community where multiple lives coexist. The reason for the collapse of the new community can be further revealed through power space and psychological space. The civilization crisis aggravated by the socialization of science and technology, the irreversible anthropocentrism and the ethical dilemma of the bionic person are the problems that need to be solved urgently before the arrival of the post-human era.
Key words: Machine Like Me, space, community, human-machine relationship
