A Study on the Influence of Lifestyle on Duty-Free Shop Selective Attributes, Satisfaction and Revisit Intention: Focused on Chinese Tourists in Republic of Korea

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to look into the relationship between lifestyle, duty-free shop selective attributes, satisfaction, and revisit intention. The relationship between the four variables was investigated with lifestyle as the independent variable, duty-free shop selective attributes as the mediating variable, and satisfaction and revisit intention as the dependent variables, using the literature method to establish an assessment scale of lifestyle, duty-free shop selective attributes, satisfaction, and revisit intention. The survey was done on Chinese tourists visiting duty-free shops on Jeju Island, Korea, with 347 questionnaires gathered, 326 of which were valid. The study found that some lifestyle factors have a significant positive effect on duty-free shop selective attributes; duty-free shop selective attributes have a significant effect on satisfaction and revisit intention; and duty-free shop selective attributes have a partial mediating effect in the influence of lifestyle on satisfaction and revisit intention, according to PLS analysis.
