Abstract: The 30th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in 1951 was the first large-scale commemoration after the founding of new China, which had far-reaching influence. Not only its operation mode and commemorative form are followed by the later celebrations, some connotations in the commemorative discourse also extend to this day. And a new tradition of commemoration at the end of a decade was formed. By reading the historical materials of newspapers and periodicals, using the methods of literature research and inductive analysis,the paper reviews and sorts out this event, which can not only enhance our understanding of the history of the celebrations of the founding of the Communist Party of China, but also provide reference for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
