Based on the student-centered concept, the reform in higher mathematics focuses on three aspects:"teaching modules", "teaching modes", and "teaching evaluations". The higher mathematics curriculum system consists of
four teaching modules: "basic concepts", "theoretical derivations", "operational skills", and "application practices".
A multi-component teaching model is constructed by integrating the characteristics of each module, with the
BOPPPS teaching model as the main framework, supplemented by the SPOC flipped classroom and PAD class
teaching models. Finally, a diversified teaching evaluation system is developed based on process learning data generated during teaching practice. By comparing the effects across four teaching classes, the reforms in "diversified
teaching modules", "diversified teaching modes", and "diversified teaching evaluations" have shifted away from traditional teacher-centered approaches, emphasizing a student-centered approach. This reform has made significant
contributions to training high-quality talents in engineering education.
