抗美援朝精神是党和人民进行伟大斗争取得的宝贵财富，是民族力量和智慧在战争中的结晶，是中国共产党人精神谱系的重要组成部分，蕴含着丰富的内涵。新时代在地方高校传承抗美援朝精神是落实立德树人根本任务的应有之义，有助于激发师生的爱国主义精神、增强师生的文化自信和培养师生的斗争精神。当前，在抗美援朝精神传承中还存在着传承内生动力不足、传承氛围不浓和育人资源挖掘不够等问题。因此，有必要在地方高校加大抗美援朝精神传承力度，将其融入到课程育人、实践育人、文化育人、网络育人等人才培养各环节、各领域，促进大学生健康成长，为培养担当民族复兴大任的时代新人汇聚磅礴的精神力量。
