何谓“大学治理”，大学由谁“治理”，大学“治理”什么，这些必须得到逻辑的辨明与澄清。大学治理就是对效率提高、秩序维持的尊崇，实质就是对教学与学术自身发展规律的尊重而驾驭与引导大学前行。无论是通过代行机构还是亲身参与，教师与学生理应成为大学治理的主导力量；大学治理的目标固然离不开服务社会经济的发展与科学技术的开发与进步，但绝不能止步于此而淡漠、遗忘乃至背离立德树人与真理追求这两大旨归。
