上海市国医公会是民国时期重要的兼具学术和职业性质的中医团体。在近代中西医激烈竞争的背景下，上海地区中医界为了争夺话语权和获得平等地位效法西医建立起自己的职业公会。上海市国医公会自从成立以来便一直不遗余力地宣传中医知识、培养中医人才、大力倡导国药，为上海中医界的发展做出了不可替代的贡献。

Shanghai Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine was an important academic and professional Chinese medicine association during the period of the Republic of China. Against the background of fierce competition between traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, the Chinese medicine circles in Shanghai established their own professional association in order to compete for discourse power and gain equal status. Since its establishment, Shanghai Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine has spared no effort to publicize the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, train talents of traditional Chinese medicine, and advocate Chinese medicine, and has made irreplaceable contributions to the development of Chinese medicine in Shanghai.
