Analysis of Music Aesthetic Education from the Perspective of Embodied Cognition

Abstract: Music is in the human practice; the exploration of musical beauty depends on aesthetic practice, and musical aesthetic education is an important way to cultivate musical appreciation. Music aesthetic education in the new era is no longer mechanical music teaching based on "supervision"; individual students and social environment are inseparable from the function of music aesthetic education. With the reappearance of body philosophy and the second generation of cognitive science, the body has ushered in the light of "revival" from the gloom of "shielding". The music education in which embodied cognition enters from a brand-new perspective, endows music perception and emotional experience with a unique teaching mode featuring body and mind integration. In the music aesthetic education, we should explore the representation of embodied situation and emotion, construct the music aesthetic education with embodied cognition, and enable students to deepen the beauty of music through the body, experience the music in the situation, and become independent and complete people with physical and mental beauty.
