Abstract: In China with rapid economic development, the development of urban low-carbon transportation has become a hot issue to sectors of society. Based on the idea of evolutionary game, the evolutionary game model between the residents and the government in the low-carbon transportation system is built, and the strategic choice and dynamic evolution process between the two stakeholders are analyzed and simulated. The results show that the government plays a dominant role in the development of urban low-carbon transportation. The government should actively guide residents to low-carbon travel and improve the incentive mechanism for low-carbon travel residents. Residents should enhance their low-carbon awareness and voluntarily travel low-carbon to promote the development of urban lowcarbon transportation.
